Unlike the original Jack Daniel's Old No. 7, which is mellowed once before aging, Gentleman Jack is charcoal mellowed both before and after maturation in new American oak barrels. This extra step results in a softer, more refined whiskey with notes of vanilla, caramel, toasted oak and light spice. It has a balanced sweetness, a silky mouthfeel and a smooth, lingering finish, making it ideal for sipping neat or on the rocks.
